Korean Cultural Club Special Activity of the Year (cum 12th Activity)--Ex-SKarf member FerlynG's Launch at Bugis+

So yeah, there was also quite a bit of talk about FerlynG's launch of her first solo album <First> in Singapore, so here we are!

As year 2015 starts, fellow Korean Cultural Club (SJI KCC) representatives Iswarya and I (Tian Tian) were headed right down to Bugis+ for this event. If you can remember, SJI KCC had an interview cum backstage meetup session with Ferlyn back in June 2014 as well, so this time round we are definitely supporting her for sure!

We were invited by our SJI Old Boy, Alan Chan, CEO of IGlobal Star to cover this event. And here you can see picture of 3 Josephians--1 Old Boy and 2 Old-girls-to-be.

We are all proud to be a Josephian! And IGlobal Star and Wise Entertainment collaborated in a company called Big Boss. All the best to Alan! SJI will always be behind you!

Coming back to FerlynG, she greeted fans in Korean and Mandarin. (FerlynG's Album is a Kpop Mandopop Fusion Album) This is but of course accompanied by her signature smile.

Then we saw fellow Kpop artiste TinyG's Mint on stage rooting for Ferlyn where they both did the 'Saranghae' heart sign. Mint spoke in English and Ferlyn translated some of the questions by the MC into Korean for her.

Thereafter Ferlyn performs her title track 'Luv Talk' featuring TinyG's Mint--half of the song in Mandarin and the rest in Korean along with Mint. The dance was pitch-perfect and the rhythm was extremely good.

FerlynG's next track is actually a mandarin track titled ‘不见不散’ (Don't forget our date), where she shows her powerful vocals.

Last but not least, there's an autograph session. So I (Tian Tian) went up on stage with my album (that I bought on the event itself) and saw FerlynG! So I said I was from SJI and she remembered me and Iswarya from June!

I asked if Ferlyn could look at the camera that Iswarya is holding and so she smiled and we had a quick photograph taken, though not a full-posed one since we can't find our camera for a moment.

It was a great experience for us and we really enjoyed the launch. We are also glad that we get to foster school spirit in this event as well! All the best, FerlynG for your solo debut and all the best to our fellow Josephian, Alan in IGlobal Star!

And by the way, here's my signed album :)
